Emporix is a Swiss company providing Digital Commerce Platform forB2B and sophisticated B2C with a state-of-the-art composable commerce architecture. It means that retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and brands can innovate their business models and differentiate themselves through technology. Emporix provides this by a cloud-native architecture based on headless microservices and an API-first approach. Its multi-tenancy concept is extensible on all levels and continuously delivers new features.
Project summary
The client was looking for a technology partner that would support the product development.
Co.brick succeeded in building the entire software development team for the client, from junior positions up to Head of Engineering, a fully dedicated team focused on development of Emporix Digital Commerce Platform.
Over time, more and more responsibilities were transferred to the Polish team. Currently the team is responsible for the development, quality assurance, documentation, dev-ops and support.
The client’s ultimate goal was to eventually merge the Polish team into Emporix structure, therefore co.brick assisted in setting up a Polish subsidiary for Emporix and also supported the handover process of the team and tools. The Polish team of Emporix is located at co.brick office in Gliwice and is managed with co.brick support.
After the merger, co.brick continues to help Emporix grow their team by recruiting new specialists for Emporix.

The team uses agile methodologies for the development process.
The team pays particular attention to matters related to product quality. Therefore, a code review and test automation are mandatory requirements for each task.
The engineering teams take an active part in all stages of the development process, beginning with planning and collecting requirements and ending with the solution’s development, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
